BactoPlus – highly effective Biocide to Free Fuels from Germs
The share of biogenic fuels in diesel and petrol provides the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, yeast, algae and fungi. BactoPlus stops and prevents the formation of these microorganisms. Already contaminated fuel can be cleaned up by adding BactoPlus (shock dosing).
Bad smell, heavy silting-up and blockage – proofs of progressed infestation – cannot be eliminated anymore by using BactoPlus, its effect cannot be guaranteed. Tanks and pipes must be cleaned manually.
Preventive Use of BactoPlus
The fuel additive does not only protects from microorganisms, it furthermore prevents corrosion of fuel depots, vehicle tanks, pipe systems, injection systems, and it stabilizes fuels.
Application
WAGNER BactoPlus can be used as fuel additive in the following areas:
- vehicles of all types and years of construction (vintage cars, young classics, new vehicles)
- tractors
- utility vehicles as trucks, construction machines, forklifts
- boats
- small appliances such as chainsaws, lawn mowers, brushcutters, lawn tractors, riding mowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, aggregates, etc.

Dosing
Meter out BactoPlus into the drained tank one third full. When refuelling the tank, fuel and BactoPlus will mix up.
For already visible sludge or technically conspicuous signs, e.g. filter clogging, we recommend a shock metering of 1: 1000.
In the case of extremely heavy silting-up, the fuel system should be cleaned manually (tank, fuel pipes, filter) before using BactoPlus.
For prevention, we recommend a mixing ratio of 1: 4000. This means, that e.g. 250 ml BactoPlus can treat up to 1000 litres of fuel.
